Our Story
We produce natural, healthy, & sustainable Plant-based Proteins and Specialty Starches
RELSUS™, a Singapore based company with its R&D and manufacturing located in India. RELSUS™ was founded in the year 2020 by a passionate team of professionals having over 120 years of combined experience with a purpose to help people live 'Healthy Lives on a Healthier Planet'. Over a period of 3 years, RELSUS™ has developed an integrated solution for plant-based protein powders and specialty starches by developing agri-farms using organic practices, proprietary technology to consistently produce high quality plant-based proteins & starches, without damaging the planet or using nasty chemicals or solvents. RELSUS™ products exhibit neutral taste and aroma, thereby eliminating the need to use taste maskers in the food production and help maintain clean labels. We strive to help Food & Beverage companies globally to scale up their plant-based offerings to fight the ongoing climate crisis and yet feed the growing world population with nutritious and healthy plant-based food. Our Philosophy
RELSUS™ has developed high-quality plant-based proteins from Non-GMO chickpea, mung bean, green pea and rapeseed crops, grown in both our owned and partnered farms using organic practices. Plant-based proteins are not only a healthier option, but it also helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions by upto 98% as compared to some of the more popular animal-based protein sources. In addition, our proprietary technology ensures consistency in high-quality products, neutral taste and aroma and sustainable production.
Why RELSUS™
While plant-based protein sources cause upto 50 times less greenhouse gas emissions compared to animal-based protein sources, we believe that this is still not enough. ChanaTein™ Chickpea protein powder is a 70% protein concentrate that leverages the naturally occurring nutrients in Non-GMO raw chickpea. ChanaTein™ is produced using our proprietary technology that delivers consistency in quality of plant-based proteins in every batch, which helps food & beverage companies to have peace of mind that their end products will maintain their nutritional, taste and texture profile. ChanaTein™ exhibits neutral taste and aroma, which is essential to eliminate artificial taste maskers during food production and maintain a clean label. It also offers high emulsification and gelling properties with high absorption of water and oil. ChanaTein™ is ideal for very diverse and highly demanding food & beverage applications such as dairy alternatives, bakery, meat analogues, beverages and other protein fortification and supplemental applications.
MungPro™ Moong Bean Protein Isolate 80%
MungPro™Moong Bean protein powder is a 80% protein Isolate derived from Non-GMO green mung bean, which is naturally a rich source of protein, vitamins, potassium, iron etc. MungPro™ is produced using our proprietary technology that delivers consistency in quality of plant-based proteins in every batch, which helps food & beverage companies to have peace of mind that their end products will maintain their nutritional, taste and texture profile. MungPro™ exhibits neutral taste and aroma, which is essential to eliminate artificial taste maskers during food production and maintain a clean label.
